Even the non craft beer lovers like this one. Light in both colour and flavour,  a subtle amount of the Magnum hops gives a light spicy flavour with a hint of citrus.

NBC’s Lager is a versatile fresh wort kit,  mix it up with hop additions or use the recommended 15 grams of Hersbrucker for traditional lager style beer.  

Using a Lager Yeast makes it easy to brew - no need to worry about a chiller. Mangrove Jacks M54 California lager yeast is the perfect choice. 

Brewed in a commercial brewery, all you need to do is add water, yeast and hops (both sold separately) and you'll have commercial quality beer, brewed by you.

Brewing Instructions

  • Pour fresh wort from the bladder into a clean and sanitised fermenter. 
  • Add 5 litres of water to bring volume to 20 litres. 
  • Aerate, pitch Mangrove Jack's M54 California Lager yeast, Yeast Nutrient and Dry Enzyme 
  • Add Hersbrucker finishing hops on day 7. 
  • Once fermentation is complete, bottle condition or keg.

Nicely packaged in plastic sacks inside cardboard boxes to keep out sunlight . The lager and session ale brewed out nicely and are bottle conditioning now . It'll be at least another week before there's a taste test but so far so good 🍻
